GRINDING DEVICE FOR ASSEMBLING PARTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device for assembling parts which grinds the outer circumferential face of a rotary member for the assembling parts and removes rotational run-out of the rotary member. SOLUTION: A grinding device for assembling parts is provided with a holding means 6 for holding a shaft member 3 in an unrotating state, a drive boots 20 for a driving means 13 for rotating a guide roller 2, and a grinder 8 provided With a grinding wheel 7 which contacts with an outer circumferential face of the guide roller 2 and performs grinding work. The holding means 6 comprises a collet main body 10 fixed to a head stock and a collet chuck 12 for pressedly fixing or releasing the shaft member 3. The drive boots 20 abuts on one side of the guide roller 2 over the whole circumference by a spring force so as to transmit the rotational movement and a rotatable auxiliary boots 25 abuts on and supports the other side of the rotary member 2 over the whole circumference by the spring force.
