Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a distance from a player to an optical spot on a hole by calculating the distance from a cursor position to a prescribed spot on the selected hole and displaying it on a display in response to the entry of a distance display command. SOLUTION: This computer 10 displays character, number and picture information relating to the selected hole on the display 14 in response to the entry of a hole section command inputted by the player. Then, while the picture information relating to the selected hole is displayed on the display 14, a cursor 200 displayed on the display 14 is positioned at the present position of the player on the selected hole in response to the entry of a cursor moving command from a keyboard 16. Then, the computer 10 calculates the distance form the cursor position to the prescribed position on the selected hole and displays it on the display 14 in response to the distance display command from the keyboard 16.
