Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high airtightness and facility in attachment and detachment in a part in which a pipe end is sealed by a seal cap, by arranging specific discontinuous ring projected threads in parallel to the axial direction of the inner surface of a cap inner surface, and forming smaller than the outside diameter of a pipe, the inside diameter of the cap formed of the end parts of the projected threads. SOLUTION: A pipe end seal cap 1 is formed of resin or rubber which has flexibility and is softer than a pipe 2 to which a seal cap 1 is fitted. At this time, at least 5 discontinuous ring projected bars 5 whose height is set to be 2.00mm or less and pitch is set to be 0.5 to 3.0mm are arranged in parallel to the inner surface of the seal cap 1. The length of a projected thread forming part 4 is set to be within a range from 5.0 to 30.00mm. When the thus formed seal cap 1 is fitted to the end part 3 of the pipe 2 until the pipe end 3 is brought to a position shown by an alternate long and short dash line by holding a gripping part 7, the pipe 2 is pushed and pressed to press and extend the inner surface of the seal cap 1 so that the projected threads 5 are deformed and pressed into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the pipe 2, thus excellent airtightness and facility in attachment and detachment can be obtained.
