Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a sealant overhangs into a water pump from its cavity by making up this extruding cavity leading to the water pump inside from a storage groove of the liquid sealant to be provided on a junction face, in this water pump kept in the sealed state with the liquid sealant filled up. SOLUTION: In a water pump 4 or a centrifugal type pump, a junction face 15 is formed in the front end of a casing 7, while another junction face 16 is formed in the rear end of a casing cover 8. In addition, a storage groove 18 is installed over the whole circumference of the junction face 16, while a level difference is formed at a side ranging from this storage groove 18 to a water chamber 9, thereby forming a cavity there. With this constitution, after a sealant 17 is filled up in this storage groove 18, the junction face 16 is forcibly contacted to the other face 15, and thereby the sealant 17 is squeezed, filling it up in the storage groove 18, and most of the excessive sealant 17 extruded out of the storage groove 18 are continuously extruded to the cavity 19, whereby a sealing part commucating to the sealant 17 in the storage groove 18 is formed with thickness of the level difference.
