ALIGNING DEVICE FOR EMPTY BOTTLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device having a high processing capability and low noises and hardly breaking a bottle. SOLUTION: This aligning device for empty bottles is provided with a transfer conveyor inclined in the width direction and a travel guide 4 provided on the lower side of the transfer conveyor and traveled at a speed higher than the traveling speed of the transfer conveyor. One or both of the transfer conveyor and the travel guide 4 are divided into multiple portions 1a, 1b, 1c having different traveling speeds, and the multiple portions 1a, 1b, 1c are arranged so that their traveling speeds are increased in sequence as the transfer conveyor 1 proceeds. The travel guide 4 is arranged to approach the high side of the transfer conveyor from the low side as the transfer conveyor proceeds, and the friction resistance between the travel guide 4 and empty bottles 9 is made larger than the friction resistance between the transfer conveyor and the empty bottles 9.
