VEHICULAR SEAT GROUP OF LONG AND CROSS ARRAY SWITCHING TYPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a priority to sitting comfort by switching a plurality of seats into the long array and taking a large space for a standing room and an ansile when a vehicle is jammed, and switching a plurality of seats into the cross array when the vehicle is not jammed. SOLUTION: An array switching device for switching a plurality of seats 10 provided in a railway rolling stock into the long array in which seat backs of respective seats 10 face sideways in relation to the traveling direction of the reilway rolling stock, and the cross array in which the seat backs of respective seats 10 face in the traveling direction of the railway rolling stock is provided. The rotational center of a rotational mechanism is slid to the rotation allowing position P3 from the long position P1 in switching of the long array to the cross array by a controller of the array switching device, the seats and the back seats are turned, and then the rotational center of the rotational mechanism is slid from the rotation allowing position P3 to the cross position P2.
