Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain spun yarn having tension and stiffness, less in fluffs and neps, excellent in touch feeling and suitable for clothing by specifically setting each of the mixing ratio and the average fineness ratio of a short fiber group having relatively long fiber length to a short fiber group having relatively short fiber length. SOLUTION: This spun fiber consists of (A) 5-50wt.% short fiber group having a fiber length of >=1.1 fold of the average fiber length of the short fiber groups constituting the spun fiber with (B) 50-95wt.% short fiber group having the fiber length of the average fiber length or shorter. The average fineness ratio of the component A to the component B is
