Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working rate of maintaining devices by shortening a time required for replacing rolls which are placed on the maintaining devices such as roll grinders. SOLUTION: Pulling-in guide rails 8b for roll grinders are formed so that three roll sets 13 are longitudinally placed. During regenerating process is executed by the roll grinder 10, the roll set 13 to which maintaining process is next executed is carried by a traverse truck 14 and placed in the inlet-side position A on this side of the pulling-in guide rails 8b. Next, this roll set is pulled in by the pulling-in device 17, moved to the anti-inlet-side position C on the farthest side of the pulling-in guide rails 8b and stood by here. When regenerating process by the roll grinder 10 is completed, the roll set 13 after regeneration is place din the loading position B between the inlet-side position A and anti-inlet side position C by a loading device 21, this set is moved to the inlet-side position A by the pulling-in device 17 and also the roll set 13 in the anti-inlet-side position C is moved to the loading position B and the roll set 13 in the loading position B is placed on the roll grinder 10 and the regenerating process is executed.
