DEVICE FOR REMOVING BACK-INTESTINE OF PRAWN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing back-intestine of prawns capable of thoroughly removing a large number of the back-intestines of prawns in a short time. SOLUTION: In this device 10 for removing back-intestine of prawns, a pair of rotation disks 20 fixed to a first rotation shaft, a disk-shaped rotation cutter 21 fixed to a second rotation shaft having a large number of angle gear teeth arranged on the external periphery in the same pitch and an idle roller 23 having a ring-like ditch in the middle part and assembled to be rotatable to a swing shaft 19 are installed, and the back-intestines are removed by holding prawns between the pair of rotation disks 20, sending the prawns between the rotation cutter 21 and the idle roller 23, cutting the back of the prawn by the rotation cutter 21 when the prawns pass through between the rotation cutter 21 and the ring-shaped ditch 23a and scraping out the back-intestines by the angle gear teeth of the cutter 21. Here in this device, a large number of unevenness extending to the radial direction are formed on the surface of the angle gear teeth of the rotation cutter.
