Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic recording device where the occurrence of image flowing caused under the environment of high temperature and high humidity after printing is prevented without necessitating the heating of a photoreceptor and an excellent image is obtained over a long period. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic recording device possesses the photoreceptor 2 where a photoconductive layer 13 and a surface layer 14 constituted of a-SiC or a-C are successively laminated on an electrically conductive cylindrical substrate 12 and a cleaning means 9 having a cleaning member 15 constituted by attaching a metallic thin plate 16 on an elastic supporting member 17. The surface layer 14 of the photoreceptor 2 is ground by the metallic thin plate 16 of the cleaning member 15 at the surface layer grinding speed of 0.0001-0.05 /rotation per one rotation of the photoreceptor 2.
