ELECTROSTATIC LATENT IMAGE DEVELOPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct manufacturing irregularity of respective components, by pressing against one side face of the blade toward the direction that makes pressing contact with a surface of the developing roller and adjusting projection quantity from the contact center between a developing roller and a blade to a tip end of the blade. SOLUTION: A restricting means 22 is equipped with a blade 46 comprizing a rigid member one side face of which is brought into pressing contact with a surface of a developing roller 16, an elastically energizing means 47 which press against the one side face of the blade 46 toward the direction that makes pressing contact with the surface of the developing roller 16, and an adjusting means 48 which adjusts projection quantity from the contact center between the developing roller 16 and the blade 46 to a tip end of the blade 46. This enables the projection quantity from the contact center between the developing roller 16 and the blade 46 to a tip end of the blade 46 to be adjusted to a predetermined value by the adjusting means 48. Accordingly, the projection quantity can be easily adjusted to, and maintained at, the predetermined value, without bringing about a useless increase in costs caused by improving manufacturing accuracy of the blade 46 and respective components.
