Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure dimensions of a groove in a groove cable with the use of a light cutting process without cutting the grooved cable. SOLUTION: A slit light beam 3 is projected onto a grooved cable 1 formed in the side surface thereof with a spiral groove 2, from a slit light beam projecting device 4, in a direction oblique to the axial direction thereof. An reflected light image 24 from the bottom surface of the groove 2 and reflected light images 25, 26 from the opposite side surfaces of the groove 2 are picked up by a CCD camera 6. These reflected light images 24 to 25 are taken with a predetermined timing into an image processing device 7 for processing the images so as to compute data as to dimensions, gaps and distances of predetermined parts of these reflected light images 24 to 26. A personal computer 8 computes an actual dimensions of the groove 2 at each timing. |
