METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR CONTINUOUSLY MANUFACTURING LIQUID ICE

PURPOSE: To provide a method and apparatus for continuous production of liquid ice which reduces the consumption of energy during the production of a pure ice crystal, demands less for strict observation of a specified parameter while optimizing all absolutely essential operation parameters with expense requred as limited as maintaining cost. CONSTITUTION: In a continuous production apparatus of liquid ice from a solution, included are a circulation tank 22, a pump, a refrigerant circulation path to cool the solution passing through at least a tubular element, a liquid separator-heat exchanger to generate an ice crystal nucleus and a minute pure ice crystal nucleus, an ice crystal growth container 18 into which is discharged the solution cooled containing the ice crystal nucleus and a minute ice crystal and an ice separator 20 receiving a supply from the ice crystal growth container 18. The pure ice crystal is separated from a concentrated solution to be recycled to the circulation tank 22 and discharged continuously from the ice separator 20.
