Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To enhance stress transmission between a post and a beam and improve work efficiency in a connecting area between a reinforced concrete post and a steel beam and their connecting method. CONSTITUTION: A connection unit 3 is employed, which is integrally molded in cross shape formed with a steel pipe 1, a pair of vertical cross-shaped reinforcing plates 2 and end steel beams 5. The steel pipe 1 is covered over the outer periphery of the post head of a post main reinforcement and embedded into a concrete post together with the post main reinforcement, thereby connecting and supporting intermittent steel beams in the same cross section on a projecting end of the end steel beams. In addition, in an installation process of the connection unit 3, the connection unit 3 is inserted from the upper part of the post main reinforcement and supported on a post formation molding form or the upper end of a hollow precast concrete post.
