MANUFACTURE OF DECORATIVE BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative board of sophisticated design using plural different types of resin with different colors at a low cost. SOLUTION: After injecting a liquid unsaturated polyester resin 2 containing a pigment into a recessed part 1a in a shaped sheet 1, the surface of the shaped sheet 1 is cleaned with a squeegee to scrape off the unsaturated polyester resin 2 so that it is left only in the recessed part 1a, and an unsaturated polyester resin 4, containing a colored pigment and a bright pigment, which is different from the unsaturated polyester resin 2, is applied, to a predetermined depth, to the surface of the base material 3 of a decorative board such as a particle board. Next, before the resin 2 in the recessed part 1a is completely cured, the shaped sheet 1 is spread over the unsaturated polyester resin 4 on the base material 3 of the decorative board. After the resins 2, 4 are cured, the shaped sheet 1 is separated to obtain a decorative board consisting of the resin 2 for forming a projecting part used for the tip part of a surface projecting part resin layer 8 and a foundation resin 4 for a foundation resin layer 7.
