Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain protrusions having a required height and shape without deformation, by forming a flat belt-form paint face with a specified thickness and small projections with a specified height on a road surface as a unit, while keeping the dissolving temperature and the viscous characteristic at the applying time of a thermoplastic paint for road face signs, within a specified range, and by sticking it with heat and solidifying it. SOLUTION: A binder chiefly made of a thermoplastic resin, a body material composed of pigments, aggregate, glass beads, etc., and a plasticizer, are mixed together and dissolved with heat to obtain a thermoplastic paint for road face signs. While keeping the dissolving temperature and the viscous characteristic of the paint at the applying time, within 150-200 deg.C, 15000-150000cps respectively, a 1-3mm thick and flat belt-form applied paint face and 3-10mm high small projections with a required shape are formed as a unit at every required distance to stick it with heat and solidify it. In this way, projections having a required height and shape without deforming can be obtained and glass beads are uniformly stuck to the belt-form applied paint face and the projections and hence a uniform reflection can be obtained and also the visibility in rain and at night is increased. |
