APPARATUS FOR PICKING LEAF OF STALK-DRIED LEAF TOBACCO USING LINEAR MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for the picking of the leaf of a stalk-dried leaf tobacco, having simple structure to enable easy maintenance and giving minimized risk to damage the leaf tobacco in picking. SOLUTION: This leaf-picking apparatus is provided with a transfer means to transfer a stalk-dried leaf tobacco T under rotation with a belt-conveyor 15 circulating above a supporting plate 12 and a pair of linear leaf-picking members 51, 52 composed of piano wires placed in a state to clamp the stalk of the stalk-dried leaf tobacco T transferred by the transfer means. The linear leaf-picking means 51, 52 are inclined relative to the transfer direction (a) of the tobacco in a state to make the picking means contact with the front tip of the stalk-dried leaf tobacco at the upstream side of transfer and contact with the stalk-side at the downstream side.
