PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch actuated with a corner not tilting, with only a relatively small assembly space required, even in a long extended key member. SOLUTION: Relating to a key switch 12 operating a switch element 24 through a long extended key member 11 having a key press down guide and an elastic support relating to manual pressure action in a press down direction 13 of a key, a transmitting member 30 strong against twisting and bending is arranged between the switching element 24 and the key member 11. This transmitting member 30, in the form of a flap, is axially supported swivelably with a shaft of a joint 31, parallel relating to the lengthwise direction to be extended in a lateral direction relating to the press down direction 13 of the key, serving as the center.
