Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk control method which improves the data reliability and the throughput and reduces the overhead for data read/write by replacing only disk mediums on the assumption that plural magnetic heads are used to simultaneously or successively access data on plural magnetic disk mediums in a magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: Plural heads in the magnetic disk device are simultaneously used without requiring special control of OS or extension of the magnetic disk device to increase the data access speed, and one of plural disk medium faces is used for data parity storage to improve the data reliability. Since replaceable disk mediums are used, replacement parts are limited to only disk mediums at the time of the occurrence of a fault in disk mediums, and parts capable of normal operation like a disk control mechanism can be continuously used to constitute an inexpensive system.
