PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store reference document information (semi)automatically in relative attribute information on a home document and make it possible to easily take out a relative document according to the information when the home document is opened. SOLUTION: Information on the relation between the home document 1-1 and relative reference documents 1-2 and 1-3 is automatically stored in a temporary reference stack and information on relation to only a reference document needed when the home document 1-1 is stored is stored in relative document attribute information 1-6 in a document management area 1-5. When the document is opened thereafter, the necessary relative document 1-2 is taken out according to the relative document attribute information 1-6 stored in the relative document management area 1-5.
