Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a tunnel with complete water stop effect in a short construction period and at a low cost. SOLUTION: Small-diameter circular shield tunnels 13, 14 are constructed between the upper ends and between the lower ends of two rectangular shield tunnels 11, 12 neighboring each other. The rectangular shield tunnels 11, 12 neighboring each other are partly lapped over the circular shield tunnels 13, 14 to be integrally formed so that a S1 inside the rectangular shield tunnels 11, 12 and a S2 encircled by the circular shield tunnels 13, 14 are formed as a space S inside a tunnel 10. The rectangular shield tunnels 11, 12 neighboring each other are gradually separated each other in a tapered area where the width of the tunnel 10 is gradually larger and the circular shield tunnels 13, 14 are displaced to the thickness direction of a tunnel structure 11.
