LAMP STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an influence to seal performance of a connection part between a housing and a lamp lens due to contact of a lamp positioning rib with a car body panel. SOLUTION: In at least a prescribed part in a peripheral edge part of a housing 22, a rib 30, surrounding the peripheral edge part of the housing 22 to be made elastically contactable with a car body panel 18, is formed. This rib 30 has a crank shape comprising a base part 30a linearly extended toward the car body panel 18 continuously from a bottom wall 22c of an almost U-shaped sectional groove 22b, extension part 30b bent from the base part 30a to extend almost in parallel relating to the car body panel 18 and in an out-car direction and a tip end part 30c bent from the extension part 30b to extend toward the car body panel 18 and almost vertically relating thereto. In the case of elastic contact of the rib 30 with the car body panel 18, by force applied to the rib 30, the crank shape, comprising the tip end part 30c, extension part 30b and the base part 30a of this rib, is elastically deformed.
