PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain simplification of a circuit configuration and cost reduction by utilizing a band switch, which is left without being used conventionally inside a PLL-IC, as the changeover switch of a modulator circuit. SOLUTION: Concerning the PLL-IC consisting of a PLL circuit 12 at an electronic tuner circuit 11, a UHF circuit 13, a VHF-HIGH circuit 14 and a VHF-LOW circuit 15 are selected by a band switch under the control of a microcomputer 18 and while using the remaining band switch also as the changeover switch of a channel switching part 17 for selecting an idle channel in order to avoid the influence of beats, etc., built in a modulator IC consisting of a modulator circuit 16, the band switch is controlled by the microcomputer 18 so that the switching of the channel switching part 17 is performed.
