TROWEL FOR PLASTER WORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach and detach a handle to and from a plastering plate for a trowel for plaster work by a method wherein a holder or an insert device constituting an attachment/detachment device is attached to the upper face of the plastering plate, and the insert device is inserted in sliding into the holder. SOLUTION: For a holder 8a, two pairs of erected pieces 9 and 9 are provided, being aslant toward the inside, at two positions at the front and the rear on both sides of a metal plate 10 for which the width at the front is different from the width at the rear. An insert device 8b is made up of a piece of a metal plate 11 that is similar to the holder 8a for having different widths at the front and the rear, and both sides thereof are bent downward, being broaden toward the end, to form bent parts 7. On making up the main body 1 of a trowel for plaster work, the holder 8a is fixed with adhesive or the like to a plastering plate 2 at a position near the center and the insert device 8b is attached integrally to the lower end of a support stem 5 attached to the underside at the middle of a bar 6 constituting a handle 3. When the plastering plate 2 becomes worn, the plate can be replaced with a new one while the handle 3 being kept reusable.
