Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent sliding characteristics, electrical conductivity, and heat resistance by dispersing fine ceramic grains, fine metallic solid lubricant grains, and solid lubricant fibers in a copper, aluminum, or iron matrix by using a mechanical alloying method. SOLUTION: Mixed grains of 0.1wt.% of thermally conductive BN grains of =99.9% purity electrolytic copper, aluminum, or electrolytic iron to undergo mechanical alloying. Subsequently, solid lubricant carbon fibers, cut to 30-40nm length, are added to the powder after the treatment, which is crushed under an inert atmosphere, mixed, and annealed. Then, the resultant powder is pressed at 1000kgf/cm compacting pressure, activated, and sintered by an electric discharge sintering method where a D.C. voltage of 2000A is applied. By this method, the metallic member containing dispersed solid lubricant grains, in which the metallic solid lubricant grains are dispersed mainly around the solid lubricant short fibers, can be obtained. |
