Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the bonding strength of a split cylindrical grinding member without losing the advantages of the member of easy mounting at a wire rope in a wire saw. SOLUTION: Split elements 11, 12 are formed by providing a recess and protrusion 3 in the length of abrasive grain layers 2 formed on base metals at the connecting surfaces of split cylindrical members for constituting a grinding member, the layers 2 split in the entire length of the recess and protrusion 3 are formed, the recess and protrusion to be engaged to be connected integrally with the split layers 2 formed on the elements 11, 12 of the base metals are formed, and the recess and protrusion are combined to form an annular grinding part. Since the members are engaged and supported not only by the fixing force of bonding materials but also between the recess and the protrusion by the combination of the recess and protrusion of the connecting surfaces, sufficient fixing force can be obtained, and hence it is not dropped by the stress loaded in the case of cutting. |
