Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a handrail adaptable to fingers so that a hand is hardly slid when it grips the handrail. SOLUTION: Many projections 35 are protruded in one line or multiple lines at prescribed intervals along the longitudinal direction on the surface of a long body uniformly covered with a synthetic resin on the outer wall of a metal pipe having a completely circular cross sectional shape to form irregularities. A recess 32 uniformly covered with the synthetic resin on the outer wall of the metal pipe and having the completely circular cross sectional shape with the same diameter is used as a handrail member. A handrail is made adaptable to fingers by the irregularities formed continuously in the longitudinal direction, and a hand is hardly slipped when it grips the handrail.
