Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain an ion exchange membrane having excellent durability and capable of being used for a long period even under a severe condition by a simple method comprising performing the polymerization at a low temperature lower than 110 deg.C without using an initiator having a high 10hr half time temperature as a radical polymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing an ion exchange membrane comprises adhering a polymerizable monomer composition comprising (a) 90.0-97.0mol.% of a monomer mixture containing a crosslinkable monomer and a monomer having an ion exchange group-introducing functional group or an ion exchange group, (b) 10.0-3.0mol.% of a radical polymerization initiator having a 10hr half time temperature of
