Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To count the number of continued bits at the same speed as input data in the case of delay with the increase of the number of bits to be counted by holding a high digit part at a count part as a carry output. SOLUTION: An adder part 20 repeatedly adds the added result up to the preceding bit to inputted parallel data on the same time base. When a carry is generated by the adder part 20, the number of such carries is counted by a count part 30 and finally, the count value of the count part 30 is added to the output of the adder part 20 so that the number of continued bits in the same bit stream can be added. Then, even when the number of continued bits is increased, the number of bits (MSB) of the count part 30 is increased so that counting can be operated at the same speed as data speed. |
