Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear speed reducer having locking performance. SOLUTION: A lock metal fitting 38 opposed to a cap 28 arranged by being fitted around an input shaft 26a, is arranged on a cover 24 forming a fixed member, and a lock bolt 39 is arranged by being detachably supported to this lock metal fitting 38. A plurality of lock holes 40 to which the lock bolt 39 is fitted is arranged in appropriate positions in the shaft circumferential direction of the cap 28. Even when the input shaft 26a is in any rotational position, the lock bolt 39 is fitted to the lock hole 40 which is positioned near to the lock bolt 39, thereby the input shaft 26a can be locked to the cover 24.
