STILE OR RAIL MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a well-finished stile in less endface-processing man-hours, by covering either one of the surface and rear faces including insert joint edges of the stile base material and the side face thereof with a decorative sheet and further covering the other face and the side face with a decorative sheet. SOLUTION: An insert joint edge 3 made of MDF at the inside when a stile base material A constituted of a core layer 1 made of strands and MDF layer 2 is assembled to form a stile, is stuck to the stile base material. A decorative sheet 5 made of a polyvinyl chloride sheet printed with a wooden pattern is laminated on the surface and the rear faces including the insert joint edge 3 of the stile base material and the side face to form a stile material. Another decorative sheet 5a is superposed with one side face of the outside of the stile base material. The surface of the insert joint edge 3 is also covered with the decorative sheet 5a and the end of the decorative sheet is folded in the groove 4 of the insert joint edge and stuck thereto. The decorative sheet 5b is stuck to the other face of the stile base material and decorative sheets 5a, 5b are laminated at the side face of the outside of the stile base material. In this way, an appearance like a high grade stile member can be obtained and the board materials are not peeled off.
