Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new water-based aerosol coating composition excellent in corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: This water-based aerosol coating composition comprises 30-70 pts.wt. of a coating composition prepared by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a resin composition 15-60 in acid value produced by polymerization between 20-80 pts.wt. of a bisphenol-type epoxy resin, 20-60 pts.wt. of an unsaturated fatty acid and l-60 pts.wt. of a carboxyl-contg. polymerizable vinyl monomer with 0.1-20 pts.wt. of a rustproofing pigment, 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a defoaming agent, 10-200 pts.wt. of an extende, and an appropriate amount of water enough for dilution to coatable viscosity, 30-70 pts.wt. of a propellant, and 1-20 pts.wt. of a water-soluble organic solvent.
