DECORATIVE SLATE MOUNTED ON CONSTRUCTION PLANE AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a decorative slate and its manufacture as being capable of suspending and mounting the decorative slate on an existing flat construction plane without making a recess in the back of the decorative slate deeper or the decorative slate itself thicker. SOLUTION: A fixture 2, which has a bent strip provided on the periphery of a flat plate 20 and an insertion hole 21 provided for the end locking portion 5a of a locking metal fitting 5 mounted on a construction plane 3, has the bottom face fitted in a fixture bearer 10 recessed to be shaped along with the sectional shape of the fixture 2 so that it can be formed into one unit with a slate body 1a via adhesive 14. A depression 103 is provided in the upper end of the slate body 1a to form a gap to the flat plate 20 of the fixture 2, where the end locking portion 5a is faced.
