POLYACETAL RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyacetal resin composition, having excellent hinge effect while keeping mechanical properties good in balance and toughness and useful for an automobile, etc., by compounding a polyacetal resin with a specific core-shell polymer. SOLUTION: This resin composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyacetal resin with (B) 1-100 pts.wt. of core-shell polymer composed of (i) a rubbery polymer as a core, (ii) a glass-like polymer as an intermediate layer and (iii) a shell containing one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of an unsaturated fatty acid amide of formula I [R1 is a 4-22C (substituted) unsaturated aliphatic group] and an alkylene bis(unsaturated fatty acid amide) of formula II (R2 is a 1-12C divalent hydrocarbon; R3 is same as R1 ) and, substantially free from the detection of an anion. Further, the component B is preferably obtained by emulsion polymerization using a nonionic surfactant and a polymerization initiator generating neutral radicals.
