WINDOW DEVICE FOR ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deflection in a window member itself in the case of forming a large widow structure, by setting up a supporter fixing a window glass in an edge part of an outer plate in car body lengthwise direction both side positions in a widow opening part. SOLUTION: In a car inside of an edge part in a window opening part formed in a side outer plate 2, along the total periphery of this edge part, a window frame 3 is set up. Between a car inside flange 3a of this window frame 3 and the side outer plate 2, a clearance setting up a side window glass 1 through a packing 4 is constituted. Further, this clearance is charged with a seal agent 5 for holding air-tightness and water-tightness. In this condition, a support implement 6 is inserted between the side window glass 1 and the side outer plate 2, to be fixed by a screw 8 screwed from outside the side outer plate 2. In this way, in the case of forming a large window structure of a glass member constituting the sie window glass 1, deflection of a window member itself can be suppressed.
