INTEGRALLY MOLDED PRODUCT OF SKIN MATERIAL AND FOAMING POLYSTYRENE RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a foamed body and simultaneously strengthen the bonding of a skin material with the foamed body by applying a bonding agent on the back of the breathable skin material, drying and then setting in a molding tool with vapor holes, filling foaming polystyrene particles in the molding tool and heating by water vapor. SOLUTION: A bonding agent is applied on the back of a breathable skin material 6 composed of a cloth single layer or a plurality of laminates, dried thereon and set in a molding tool with vapor holes. Then, foaming polystyrene resin particles 3 are filled in the molding tool and heated by water vapor to foam bond the particles 3. In the case the skin material 6 is used in the form of the single layer, not in a laminate, it is preferable to use a cloth composed of a woven cloth, a knit cloth, a non-woven cloth or the like of openings of 0.5mm or less. As the bonding agent to be applied on the skin material 6, a rubber adhesive layer, a moisture heat curing type bonding agent, a bonding agent prepared by dissolving polystyrene resin in a solvent or the like can be used.
