SAFETY LAMP DEVICE FOR BICYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to traffic safety and prevent an accident by fitting a light source to the front wheel of a bicycle, and emitting the richly colored rotating light as the front wheel is rotated when the bicycle is traveled so that the existence of the bicycle is recognized from four directions, i.e., the front, rear, right, and left, with high visibility for arousing the attention of pedestrians and other vehicle drivers when the bicycle is traveled at night. SOLUTION: A 12-V battery 2 is fitted to the body 1 of a bicycle as a power source, a power switch 4 is fitted to a handle 5, and an insulating plate 7 and a conducting plate 8 are fitted at the center section of the front wheel into contact with a a at-tire brush 9, to feed current through a transformer 6, and a neon tube or a fluorescent tube installed in an acrylic cylinder fixed to a spoke is illuminated.
