FACSIMILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND TRANSMISSION METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile communication system capable of effectively utilizing a storage means on a facsimile equipment by tentatively moving image data to the storage means on an external information processing terminal before transmission at the time of performing facsimile transmission. SOLUTION: When a transmission instruction is received (S201), whether or not the image data are received from an information processing terminal is judged (S202), and in the case of Yes, a normal transmission processing is performed corresponding to the image data and auxiliary information such as the destination or the like (S204). Also, when the transmission instruction has contents to read an original by a read control part and transmit it (No of S202), the image data of the read original are transferred to an image memory on the information processing terminal and thereafter, the image data are facsimile transmitted by the transmission instruction from the information processing terminal.
