COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, DATA COMMUNICATION METHOD USING THE SAME AND NETWORK CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of performing a calling processing and communication through the mobile object telephone set such as a PHS or the like serially connected to a ordinary model by using the ordinary modem. SOLUTION: The modem 31 is serially connected through an external input/output terminal 17c to the mobile object telephone set 10 and a calling request and transmission data are supplied from an NCU (network controller) inside the modem. The supplied data are received in an NCU control detection part 20 and the contents are discriminated. In the case of the calling request, a corresponding selection number is detected, the selection number is transmitted to an NCU main body inside a control part 14 and dialing is performed to a repeater station. In the case of normal communication data, the contents are sent out as they are. By discriminating a processing performed by the NCU on a modem side by the NCU control detection part and making the NCU main body execute the processing similar to it, the processing is performed on the modem side without being conscious of the presence of the NCU main body and the automatic dial log-in function of a connected personal computer 30 becomes usable.
