REFUSE COMBUSTION CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make calorific power produced by refuse charging constant to make an amount of steam generated from a boiler constant. SOLUTION: A refuse furnace is such that a feeder drive device 8 is driven to advance a feeder 7 to supply refuse 9 to a combustion chamber. In the refuse furnace, a path for movements of the feeder 7 from a rear end A to a front end B is divided into a first intermediate region and a second intermediate region, so that if a fuel supply stoppage command is issued during advancing movement of the feeder 7, subsequent action of the feeder 7 is changed depending upon whether it is in the first intermediate region or in the second intermediate region, whereby an amount of refuse, which is a fuel, is suitably adjusted to achieve stable combustion.
