Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for papermaking exhibiting a paper force- increasing effect and causing an excellent water filterability and storing stability, comprising a mixed solution of specific acrylamide-based polymers. SOLUTION: This additive is composed of a mixed solution of acrylamide- based polymers containing (A) a cationic acrylamide-based polymer and (B) an anionic acrylamide-based polymer and a weight ratio of the components (A/B) is (5/95)-(95/5), and a cationic monomer unit of the component A is 2-50mol% and an anionic monomer unit of the component B is 2-30mol%, and at least one of the components A and B has a branched crosslinking structure. Preferably, at least one of the components A and B contains 0.05-10% of a vinyl compound selected from vinyl compounds (salts) of the formula (R1 is H or a 1-3C lower alkyl; (n) is 1-8) as a constituting component.
