Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the brazing by providing slightly wide back and bottom faces of a base part which are abutted on the flat surface of a tip fitting part before a tooth body opposite to a tooth chamber, and abutted to dispense with a V-shaped groove in the tooth body. SOLUTION: A cemented carbide tip 1 is a polygonal columnar body having two equal sides in the plan view, with the acute end at which two sides cross is faced in the cutting direction, and comprises a head part which is positioned at the center of the width of a saw tooth part 2 and formed of a preferably notched recess below the side edge of the polygon except the back face, and a base part of similar but smaller shape in section to that of the head part. The head part is provided with a tip blade 1a and a side edge blade 1b, and a tooth throat blade 1c is provided at the boundary of the head part with the base part. A back face 1e and a bottom face 1f of the base part 1d are wider than the flat surface of a tip fitting part before the tooth body 2 facing the tooth chamber 3, and they are brazed to each other. The head part at each end of the side edge blade 1b and the flat surface ranging from each end of the base part 1d to each end of the back face 1e of the base part are respectively of U-shape.
