GUARD FENCE OF PRESS MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by installing a transparent corrugated plate on a guard fence intercepting the force and back of a die area. SOLUTION: A guard fence 20 is installed vertically movably against a die area of a press machine. The guard fence 20 allows the entering inside a die area from the outside at the upper limit position of the guard fence 20 and intercepts the die area at its lower limit position. With the guard fence 20, the fore side and/or the back side of the die area are installed and a transparent corrugated plate 30 is initialed on the fence. A sound absorption material 31 is installed on each of bottom parts of the corrugated plate 30 directed toward the die side. Because each part of the corrugated plate 30 has the surface having high reflectance to of the sound wave, the noise generated when press forming is executed is proceeded like showing with an arrow mark and reflected at the inclination face of the corrugated plate 30, the reflected noise is concentrated at the position of the sound absorption material 31 and it is absorbed effectively by the sound absorption material 31. Therefore, the working environment and the workability can be improved.
