WATER ABSORBING AND DRAINING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide water, which has intruded the surface of a waterproof layer, to a draining groove by integrally forming a tape with a columnar body with the predetermined clearance, and arranging a water absorber in this clearance, and providing it on a water-proof layer of the surface of a floor panel. SOLUTION: A water absorber 1 is arranged in the longitudinal direction of a recessed surface tape 6 so as to be pinched between cylindrical bodies 8. A columnar body of a projecting surface tape 4 is thereby fitted in a recessed part of the cylindrical body 8 of the recessed surface tape 6. A water absorbing and draining material 12 is formed in the condition that the water absorber 1 is provided between the projecting surface tape 4 and the recessed surface tape 6 with a clearance S. At this stage, each one surface of the projecting surface tape 4 and the recessed surface tape 6 is coated with the rubber asphalt compound 9. Water intruded from a coating surface layer is sucked for guide to the clearance from both sides of the water absorbing and draining material 12, and led out by the capillary phenomenon of the water absorber 1. With this structure, surface of the waterproof layer can be always maintained in the waterless condition.
