WIRE HEALD SEPARATION AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a both a wire heald separating apparatus capable of surely separating the front wire heald from wire healds forming a group and a method for separating the wire healds. SOLUTION: In this method for separating wire healds, a wire heald at the front end hung from a horizontally extending guide rail 9 is pulled out upward, a ring part 7 of the front wire heald is shifted from a ring part 7A of a next wire heald. A pair of pushing back claws 20 are moved from the outside in the horizontal direction toward the exposed next upper ring part 7A. The next upper ring part 7A is pushed in the horizontal direction while passing a rod part 5 of the front wire heald between the pushing back claws 20 to provide the objective method for separating the front upper ring part 7 from the next upper ring part 7A.
