SLIDE RAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and use only one type of a mold for simplifying a manufacturing process by making the shape of a fixing slide rail same as that of a moving slide rail. SOLUTION: A fixing rail 1 of roughly U shape which has a protruding curved surface 7 at one end and a recessed curved surface 8 at the other end and a moving rail 2 of the same shape as the fixing rail 1 are disposed so that they may be symmetrical with regard to a central axis. A plurality of balls 3 are inserted between the recessed curved surface 8 of the fixing rail 1 and the protruding curved surface 7 of the moving rail 2. The balls are held so that they may rotate freely by a ball retainer 4 where holes are fitted at equal intervals so that they may not interfere with each other. Wheels 12 are inserted between the recessed curved surface 8 of the fixing rail 1 and the recessed curved surface 8 of the moving rail 2 at prescribed intervals, and the wheels 12 are rotatably-retained by a wheel retainer 13 so that they may not interfere each other. The shape of the fixing rail is the same as that of the moving rail, therefore, it is possible to manufacture them in one mold for easy manufacturing process.
