Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film made from a polyester resin having good film-forming properties and having high mechanical properties and excellent heat sealability. SOLUTION: This film is prepared by molding a polyester resin comprising a reaction product of a polyhydric alcohol with a polybasic acid or its esterifiable derivative. In this resin, 1,4-butanediol units account for 90-100mol% of the polyhydric alcohol units, and 4-12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid units or units derived from its esterifiable derivative account for 2-45mol% of the polybasic acid units.
