Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain polyolefin wiping cloth, which is superior in preventing lint from generating and suitable for using in a clean room by constituting wiping cloth with a polyolefin porous long fiber having a specific porosity. SOLUTION: This polyolefine wiping cloth is so composed as its polyolefin porous long fiber is provided with 8-25% porosity. Its manufacture is such that a continuous long fiber is obtained by melt spinning a mixture of polyolefin resin and paraffin wax, and that, after obtaining a thermally melt-bonded nonwoven fabric by the use of this continuous long fiber, paraffin wax is extracted and removed from that nonwoven fabric, thereby producing polyolefin nonwoven fabric composed of a polyolefin porous long fiber having 8-25% porosity. Thus, the polyolefin wiping cloth is obtained superior in preventing lint from generating.
