PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the occurrence of a fault in the fitting of a substrate even if the positions of a projection and a front rise part in an inner barrel fluctuate and to precisely operate the substrate to a prescribed position with simple constitution and a fitting means. SOLUTION: The input pen is constituted in such a way that the substrate 7 for mounting electronic parts such as a chip capacitor 16 and a switch 15 is incorporated in a main body and information on a designation position is transmitted to a tablet-side. The front rise part 2C and the projection 2D are provided for the inner barrel 2 incorporated in the main body, and a front notch part 7A and an engaged hole 7B are formed on the substrate 7. The front notch part 7A of the substrate 7 is engaged with the front rise part 2C of the inner barrel 2. Then, the projection 2D of the inner barrel 2 is engaged with the engaged hole 7B of the substrate 7 and the substrate 7 against the inner barrel 2 is positioned.
