Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To prevent the pallet position from being moved, and to prevent a pallet from being dropped from a rack caused by contact of a fork, by stopping a reach-out operation before the fork is brought in direct contact with the pallet, an object to be handled, or an obstacle, namely, in the non-contact state. CONSTITUTION: A non-contact type sensor composed of a reflecting type photoelectric sensor 6 for detecting an obstacle is attached on the tip lower part of a fork 2 of an automatic guided fork lift 1.
